Oregon Coast Cabins For Camping

oregon coast cabins There are 3 parks on the Oregon coast where you can rent cabins. If you don’t have an RV and want to go camping then this is the way to go

Why not take a big step up from a tent and check out these rustic, 1-room cabins.

They sleep 5 people. There is a double bed plus a single sized bunk beds. There is also a dining table and chairs.

They are heated and have lights and electricity and a locking door. There is also an outdoor fire pit and a picnic table. There is also a covered porch and a bench where you can sit and enjoy the scenery.

All you have to bring is your own bedding, food, dishes and basically the usual camping stuff Except for the tent or RV.

The great thing about them is the price. They rent from $35 to $39 a night. I call that cheap!

The best thing about that is the fun you can have. They are very comfortable and they even stay cool in the summer.

They are located at Cape Blanco, Loeb and Umpqua Lighthouse state parks.

Loeb State Park

The cabin pictured here is at Loeb State Park, which is north east of Brookings on the Southern Oregon Coast.

The best thing about that is the fun you can have. The cabins are very comfortable and they even have a locking door.

Just bring your camp chairs and you can sit around the campfire and tell all kinds of stories (weather they are true of not). Cook up some really good camping recipes and you have got it made.

Rustic Cabins

These cabins are rustic but very comfortable. What I like about them is that you can lock the door.

They are heated and all you have to bring is your bedding and cooking pans and food.

You can set on the porch and just relax and enjoy the scenery.

Interpretive Programs

The really nice thing about most of the parks is they regularly have interpretive programs in their outdoor theater.

They have different programs all the time and you can learn a lot about the area you are in and also about safe camping.

There are programs that show you the different wildlife and plants in the area.

It is a lot of fun and the kids love them.
