Scenic Oregon Coast

Try your luck at the Chinook Winds Casino

chinook winds casino Do you feel lucky! If you do, then try your luck at the Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City on the Scenic Oregon Coast. The Pacific ocean is at its back door.

The casino resort opened in 1995. The casino is owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians of Oregon.

If you feel lucky and want to test your skills they have the brightest and most spacious casino around. They have all the games you love to play.

You will be amazed when you walk in the front door. The spirit of the Tribe is captured in the décor of the facility. It is a beautiful building.

The Chinook Winds Casino is open 24 hours a day and 365 days of the year.

They offer bingo, keno and more than 1,200 video slots. Table games include blackjack, poker roulette and craps.

In addition to the gambling, there is also a beachfront hotel located right next door to the casino.

There is even an 18-hole golf course just minutes to the north.

Lincoln City, OR

If you get tired of gambling then you need to check out the town. There are many gift and souvenir shops on the main street.

One of them I like is the Candyland! It offers all kinds of homemade candy and taffy. They even have sugar free chocolate which is the only thing my husband can eat.

If you don’t feel like shopping then there are miles of beach for you to play on.

Other Things To Do

When you go to the casino in Newport there are a lot of other things to do there.

One of the things that I like to do is visit the Tanger Outlet Mall.

You can spend hours there because there are so many stores and you need to look at them all.

World’s Shortest River

Do you like to fish? Then you need to visit Devils Lake. There are nine species of freshwater fish plus you can water ski, windsurf and jet ski.

Flowing from Devils Lake is the “D” River, which holds the title of the ”World’s Shortest River”. The river reaches its destination of the Pacific in a mere 120 feet.
