I would like to tell you a little about myself so here is my information. I was born and raised in Oregon and have spent all my life here.

My father was an avid fisherman and I fell in love with the sport. My brother died when he was very young so I guess I took his place with my father. I didn’t mind because I love the outdoors.

Dad owned a boat so we were always going to the coast to go salmon fishing. I think we have been to every harbor on the Oregon coast. My favorite one is Newport because it is a lot shorter than some of them.

We camped out all over the coast. My folks had a travel trailer so we were quite comfortable. There is nothing better than your food cooked out on an open campfire. I can just taste those roasted marshmallows and those fried potatoes and onions.

We were also rock hounds so we spent a lot of time on the beach. The best beach for agates then was Agate Beach. The only problem was the long walk to the beach. Boy, you had better be in good shape because it was all uphill getting back to your car.
