Oregon Coast Farmers Markets

You can visit the Oregon Coast Farmers Markets every weekend from the spring through the fall. They are located from Astoria to Brookings and have been in existence for many years.
Every weekend people lay out their bounty of fresh flowers and produce picked fresh from their farms on the Pacific Coast and from the Willamette Valley.
It is so much fun to roam among the many different booths and check out their products. They may be set up in the back of their pickup, on folding tables or under tents.
You can find fresh herbs, tomatoes, all kinds of peppers, just about any kind of vegetable and also some different cheeses. There are even bakers there with fresh homemade pastries.
One of the great things about the markets is the crafts. You can find anything from just plain funky to the absolute fabulous. This is what you call shopping!
You also can find fresh seafood at some of the farmers markets. When I say fresh I mean fresh, just right off the boat. You can also find natural grow, grass fed chicken, beef and pork which tastes absolutely delicious. You may never go back to store bought meat again after you taste this.
A lot of the people will even tell you how to cook the vegetables and give you some of their favorite recipes. You just can not beat the Oregon Coast farmers markets on the Oregon Coast so check out the locations of them below.
