Oregon Coast Ghosts

Oregon Coast ghosts are said to reside in lighthouses and fire stations along the coast. A ghost is said to be the apparition of a deceased person, frequently similar in appearance to that person.
They are usually encountered in a place he or she frequented, or in association with the person’s former belongings.
The ghost almost always appears alone and is usually non-substantial in form and often gray. The ghost does not speak and after a few moments it vanishes or exits through a wall. In cases where the ghost is heard, it is not seen. He or she may moan, cry like a child or speak a simple phrase or single word. They do not carry on a conversation.

Scenic Oregon Coast.
Oregon has many ghost stories but I have limited my stories to the Oregon Coast Ghosts. They are all set along the beaches and towns of our beautiful coast. The Oregon beaches have much to offer the visitors who love the ocean. But there is a different side to the Oregon coast. There are mysteries of paranormal, shadowy and elusive ghosts. Many towns along the Oregon coast boast of some kind of unexplained mysteries. Ghosts on Oregon’s coast are a growing segment of tourism that’s a ways below the surface. You have to look beyond the beautiful beaches and shops to find the mysteries. But it is there if you want to look for it. But watch out because it is not always lurking where you think it should be.
Ghosts On The Coast
Most of the time owners of a haunted place try to discover some dire event which occurred to explain the ghost. But not all ghosts are derived from disasters. Some just like to hang around. The Oregon coast is the home to a few of these apparitions. I will try to tell you about them.
Most of this information about Oregon Coast Ghosts was gathered by searching in library collections and by asking volunteers at museums on the coast.
