Campfire Banana Peanut Butter Sandwiches
There are many ways to make peanut butter sandwiches but have you thought about grilling them and putting banana with them! The kids love to make them and also eat them and have figured out that they can make them at home on the stove.
If your kids are to young you may need to cook them for them. They usually don’t mind so long as you let them put them together.
Ingredients
- Peanut butter (I like chunky)
- Bread
- Butter
- Banana
Instructions
Spread peanut butter on one piece of bread and put a few slices of banana on top. Put another slice on top to make a sandwich. Butter the outsides of the bread and cook in a skillet till golden brown. Flip the sandwich and do the same to the other side. My kids and grandkids love these peanut butter sandwiches.
Of course, if your kids don't like bananas you can always leave them out. Maybe you could put jam or jelly in the sandwich instead of the bananas.
Either way they are very good and kids love to make them. When you grill them it just seems to give them a different taste.
