Make These Ziplock Omelets In A Matter Of Minutes

Make these ziplock omelets the night before and put them in your cooler. The next morning just get your water boiling and throw them in. In a few minutes they will be done and ready to eat.


The great thing about them is that you can put just about anything in them that you want.


Just remember that if you want meat in them, the meat needs to be cooked first.




Omelet Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 eggs per person
  • diced ham or crumbled sausage or bacon
  • shredded cheese
  • any of your favorite veggies
  • milk


Instructions

Crack eggs into a ziplock baggie and add desired amount of milk (some people don’t use milk). Add desired amount of meat and veggies and shredded cheese plus salt and pepper. Knead the baggie a little bit to mix the ingredients.


Put the bag in a pot of boiling water and cook. It will take 5 to 7 minutes until desired doneness.


After they are done just cut the bag off and eat. They are really good wrapped in a tortilla or put in pita bread.


They are great and come out just like an omelet. If you like western omelets just add salsa. You can add many different veggies. I like tomatoes in mine.


Just have fun and let everyone put what they want in theirs. With kids it is hard telling what they will come up with.
